Mrs. Shakuntala Devraj is the Director of the Playschool and has been running and has been running a play home and Daycare for past 18 years at Kormangala and J.P. Nagar (6 years). She is Postgraduate with masters in Education from Mumbai University. She was trained in Montessori Methods (UK) and Early Childhood Programme from Spastic Society of Karnataka to run a daycare Centre.

As a Principal and teacher for the past 30 years, she has written books as coordinator for Programme cum guide to standard X teachers in English 1st language in the syllabus. She has worked in the capacity of head Mistress and counselor in PTA School (Jayanagar),  Cambridge Public School and R.J.S (Kormangala). She hails from Mumbai and was a Xavierite Throughout her student days. She has also worked as a principal in prestigious Mumbai Institutions. She is well versed in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Sindhi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, She is a Bharatnatyam Dancer well versed in Carnatic Music (Vocal and Veena )

A Devotee of Guruji Sri Ravi Shanker, she is active, sportive, playful and passionate about children.
